Stacy L. Porter, MD

Dr. Porter is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 20 years of experience providing comprehensive eye care in the Puget Sound region. She was born and raised in the Midwest where she received her medical degree at the University of Iowa College of Medicine before completing her residency training in ophthalmology at the University of Washington. Her clinical focus is on cataract and refractive surgery while providing comprehensive care to her patients. She has performed thousands of cataract surgeries and offers the latest in intraocular lens implants (IOLs) that allow for both near and distance vision, and she understands the importance of helping patients determine which lens will best fit their lifestyle. Dr. Porter also has extensive experience in glaucoma, LASIK, diabetic retinopathy, blepharoplasty, dry eye, as well as other general ophthalmologic conditions. Her patient care philosophy is to provide patient centered and compassionate comprehensive eye care while utilizing the most advanced technologies and techniques, and she is committed to meeting the individual needs of her patients. Dr. Porter and her husband have resided in Seattle for 26 years and have 2 sons.
